Pigeon death

I just watched a pigeon get plucked from the air by a hawk.

While I have no particular love for the particularly stupid breed of central Ohio pigeon, it was rather disturbing to see it happen at eye-level from my office window, only about twenty yards away.

Yet, two flocks of pigeons still are waffling around the downtown skies.
