The front yard
For those of you who have been impressed by our gardening endeavors, let me present the other half of the front yard:
Pretty much a mass of weeds with cannas struggling to take up the slack. So don't be too impressed with our gardening, OK?

That's more like it. Reminds me of my lovely weed beds...
Though I did take the weed whacker to many of them last week!
Keeping those weeds and things looks a lot easier than having to mow the hill! Silly neighbors should realize that and give it a shot! ;)

And we've got a basic plan for this now: we're going to put in a little pond. And transpant some of our tiger lilies that are growing like weeds out by the vegetable garden where we can't really enjoy them. But that won't happen until fall.
