Chayote flowers!

I never thought it would flower.

Now if only we had another couple months before frost, we could have actual chayote. Hey, maybe we'll get lucky!

I have a handful of these vines as well. They are aggressive - grew to about 15 feet in length in less than 3 months. Amazing growth spurt!

I never did see any flowers on the vine - definitely not as many as you have. However, last weekend I found a fruit!! Yes!!! Hopefully I'll be drowning in chayote inb about a month!

Good to see someone else who is growing these veggies.
