WooHoo! Superpowers!
OK. Not yet. But by Halloween, I full expect to have superpowers brought on by exposure to radiation. Cool.
See, I have an autoimmune disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, which is no big deal. I take my levothyroxine and as long as I don't forget it for a few days in a row, it's no big deal. Recently, I had an ultrasound of my thyroid because, well, it's one of those things that should be done and it just never was. Until last week, of course.
Turns out, I have a nodule. And that's really not a huge deal. It's very small, but it does mean that I get superpowers! Yay!
Well, maybe I'm not guaranteed to get superpowers, but since I have to have a nuclear imaging scan, I do get to drink some radioactive material.
So yay! (Potential) superpowers!

Sorry about the nodule. I had three nuclear studies done and they aren't bad at all, although I never had to drink anything, it was all injected.

Actually, I think They Might Be Giants will be doing the theme song. And Cordy has first dibs on sidekick, but if she doesn't want it, I'd be happy to have you, Fi!

I had the same procedure done (for the same thing!). No super-powers, yet, though. Drat. (Does "Doctor Worm" count as my theme song? :) )

I wast to be able to create fire with my mind. Like what's-her-name from Hellboy. That's the power I've always wanted. What about anyone else?
I've always thought that Jean Grey from the X-Men was the most underused character, as far as powers. I mean, screw all the other muties. She and Prof X could sit in the living room in their jammies and take on just about everyone. So yes, I would have telepathy and telekenesis :)
