No lunch today
But for a happier reason this time! I went out to lunch with a co-worker/friend. Good food, too. A sandwich, which is exactly what I had been craving.
Damned expensive though! $8.53 for a sandwich, side and soda. See why I bring my lunch pretty much every day?

Yup, it all adds up and that sounds kinda of reasonable for it all. Now calculate that 5 times a week for 52 weeks and see how much you save? My husband packs everyday too.
Even if you went to Wendy's everyday and stuck to the value menu for a sandwich, side & drink (not the tastiest or the healthiest, but certainly close to the cheapest for eat out lunches), you'd still top $750 EACH per year. Suck! Keven made some nice cash during the summer, but - living apart - we blew a lot of it because both of us were crap at taking the time to save money that way.
