Busy, busy!

We've had a busy few days around here with family and shopping and all sorts of stuff going on. It's been quite tiring, as you can tell by Kaylee's reaction to the whole thing. At least I'm pretty much done with the holiday shopping now. Just little things to get now - and then to mail everything out!

We've been having some unseasonably beautiful weather, which we have been enjoying immensely. The dogs have been spending a great deal of time outside. Cordy's having a little trouble finding shade now that our giant maple has lost most if its leaves, but if she gets right up against the trunk, she has a nice little band of shadow. Kaylee, on the other hand, sunbathes on the porch.

Even though it's not very winter-like weather, we did our holiday photo shoot with the dogs yesterday. While Kaylee was perfectly happy to model for us once we gave up on having her sit, Cordy was not so keen on having to hang out with her bratty sister. She tolerated it for a bit, but then decided that enough was enough. We got a few good photos, though. I'll post the final version nearer to the end of the month.

I've been working on other things, too. More on that later. This post was mostly an excuse to show pictures of the girls. :)
