Hm. Interesting. Butt scratches have the opposite effect on Lola - they rile her up.
Gracie prefers belly rubs, I prefer the butt scratches myself. don't knock it if you haven't tried it.
Awww--I was hoping to see the thing where Jeff's entire had disappears into the slobbery mouth...that seems to calm her pretty well, too.
