Labor day weekend canning
Remember when I said I was going to try to relax this weekend? Yeah, I didn't.
This is one of each of the ten (!!!) things I canned, plus one more that is in the freezer already. Starting from the top left...
- Tomatillo salsa
- Butterscotch peach jam
- Stanley plum jam
- Apricot jam
- Apple plum jam
- Melon orange preserves
- Tomato basil pasta sauce
- Roasted veggie pasta sauce
- Pepper salsa
- Leftover fruit chutney
I'm pretty much done with the canning now, though I've got a few more little things, and we'll see what we see at the next few farmers' markets.

Delurking here. Hi! I'm Dorie from Maryland. Found your blog looking for other bloggers with SharPeis.Your garden looks fabulous! Our grapes got ripe, so I spent part of the weekend making my first ever jelly. All that straining is hard work! I still have jars left, so in a couple of weeks I'd make some apple butter.
I have industriousness envy. All I did was play with code all weekend. Gah.
Looks like you were very busy--but the photo is lovely and everything looks muy yummy!
