Materials:
1 oz. Reynolds Saucy Sport yarn
2.25 mm hook
Yarn needle
Gauge:
Foundation chain + rows 1-4 = 5.5" wide by 1" high
Stitches used:
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
Instructions:
Foundation chain: Chain 39. Turn.
Row 1: 1 sc in 11th chain from hook, ch 3, skip
3 ch, 1 dc in next ch, (ch 3, skip 3 ch, 1 sc in next ch, ch 3,
skip 3 ch, 1 dc in next ch) 3 times. Turn.
Row 2: ch 4, skip first dc, (skip 1 ch, 1 sc
in next ch, ch 3, skip [1 ch, 1 sc, 1 ch], 1 sc in next ch, ch
1, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in dc, ch 1) 3 times, skip 1 ch, 1 sc in next
ch, ch 3, skip [1 ch, 1 sc, 1 ch], 1 sc in next ch, ch 1, skip
1 ch, 1 dc in next ch. Turn.
Row 3: ch 3, skip first dc, (skip [1 ch, 1 sc],
7 dc in ch 3 space, skip [1 sc, 1 ch], 1 dc in dc) 3 times, skip
[1 ch, 1 sc], 7 dc in ch 3 space, skip [1 sc, 1 ch], 1 dc in next
ch. Turn.
Row 4: ch 6, skip first 4 dc, 1 sc in next dc
(the fourth dc of 7 dc group), ch 3, skip 3 dc, 1 dc in next dc,
(ch 3, skip 3 dc, 1 sc in next dc, ch 3, skip 3 dc, 1 dc in next
dc) two times, ch 3, skip 3 dc, 1 sc in next dc, ch 3, skip 3 dc,
1 dc in next ch. Turn.
Rows 5-25: Repeat rows 2-4 seven times.
Row 26: Repeat row 2.
Row 27: Repeat row 3. Fasten off.
Finishing:
- Fold crocheted fabric into thirds, allowing row 27 to slightly
overlap foundation chain row.
- Evenly space 16 sc along one short edge. Fasten off.
- Evenly space 16 sc along opposite short edge. Fasten off.
- Weave in ends.
- Insert tissue packet into pouch, with plastic package opening
open and on top.
Note: The stitch used is the "Spaced Arches" stitch
