Pup
Poop Pouch

Tired of finding crinkly plastic bags in all your pockets from
when you walk the dog? Keep them in the Pup Poop Pouch and you'll
never be without and your pockets will be much less crinkly. Also
use it to carry your keys, cell phone, and a copy of your ID for
added safety.
Materials:
Small amounts of 5 different colors of Bernat Cotton Tots yarn
5.5 mm hook
Yarn needle
Button
Stitches used:
ch - chain
sl - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
Instructions:
Colors will be called A, B, C, D, and E.
Pouch:
Round 1: With Color A, ch 3, join to first stitch
with sl. (3 stitches)
Round 2: ch 2, sc in same space as ch 2, 2 sc in each sc around.
Join with sl to second chain of turning chain. (6 stitches)
Round 3: ch 2, sc in same space as ch 2, 2 sc in each sc around.
Join with sl to second chain of turning chain. (12 stitches)
Round 4: ch 2, 2 sc in next sc, (1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next
sc) 5 times. Join with sl to second chain of turning chain. (18
stitches)
Round 5: ch 2, 2 sc in next sc, (1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next
sc) 8 times. Join with sl to back loop of second chain of turning
chain. (27 stitches)
Round 6: ch 2, sc in each sc around, in the back loop ONLY. Join
with sl to second chain of turning chain. (27 stitches)
Round 7: ch 2, sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, (1 sc in next two
sc, 2 sc in next sc) 8 times. Join with sl to second chain of turning
chain. (36 stitches)
Round 8: With Color B, ch 2, sc in each sc around. Join with sl
to second chain of turning chain. (36 stitches)
Round 9: Repeat round 8.
Round 10: With Color C, ch 2, sc in each sc around. Join with
sl to second chain of turning chain. (36 stitches)
Round 11: Repeat round 10.
Round 12: With Color D, ch 2, dc in next sc, (sc in next sc, dc
in next sc) 17 times. Join with sl to second chain of turning chain.
(36 stitches)
Round 13: With Color E, ch 3, sc in next dc, (dc in next sc, sc
in next dc) 17 times. Join with sl to second chain of turning chain.
(36 stitches)
Round 14: With Color C, ch 2, sc in each stitch around. Join with
sl to second chain of turning chain. (36 stitches)
Round 15: Repeat round 14.
Round 16: With Color B, ch 2, sc in each sc around. Join with
sl to second chain of turning chain. (36 stitches)
Round 17: Repeat round 16.
Round 18: With Color A, ch 2, sc in each sc around. Join with
sl to second chain of turning chain. (36 stitches)
Round 19: ch 2, sc dec next 2 stitches tog, (sc in next sc, sc
dec next 2 stitches tog) 11 times. Join with sl to second chain
of turning chain. Fasten off. (24 stitches)
Loop:
Row 1: Join Color D to last sc in round 19. Ch 1, sc in same sc,
sc in next two sc. Turn.
Row 2: ch 2, sc in two next sc. Turn.
Row 3: ch 2, sc in next sc, sc in second chain if turning chain.
Turn.
Rows 4-7: Repeat row 2.
Row 8: Ch 3, sc in second chain of turning chain. Fasten off.
Finishing:
- Sew in all ends.
- With Color A, sew button on outside of pouch on row
19, centered under the loop.
- To carry, loop around handle of leash, then button.
- Stuff full of plastic bags so you can offer extras to any dog
walkers who need one.
