New furniture

Other than being ill and trying to get the garden started, we've been furniture shopping.

The dogs approve of the new couch. That's a slipcover on it already, with an auxiliary blanket on it, yes. Kaylee threw up all over the last couch, so I'm not taking any chances. It's blue denim under there, and I may get a denim slipcover, too, in case I ever want to see it.

I also got myself a recliner, and I'm sure Jeff will take a photo of me asleep in it at some point. For now, I can tell you that it's very comfortable, having spent two days in it watching Law & Order and sleeping (can you tell the difference between the two? I couldn't).

Now I just need to get Jeff to buy a flat-screen TV and we can rearrange the living room how I want it. He's just being unreasonable by not doing that, don't you think?
