2005 Surf Festival
6-Man Volleyball Tournament
This volleyball tournament is an exercise in divine
idiocy. Teams dress up, drink, and have fun in the sun. There are
some more serious teams, and they tend to win the tourney, but everyone
has fun.
This team played in their underwear.
This was one of two teams dressed ala Risky Business. The
other team was a women's team.
There were actually two teams dressed in lederhosen. This team was
up against the tourney's eventual winners, Team Smack. The lederhosen
team didn't have a chance - Team Smack had several pros on it.
The WWF. Team members included Hulk Hogan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Andre
the Giant, and Sgt. Slaughter. They dragged the ring around with
them both days, including when they swapped sides during the match.
You know what really bugged me about them? How many of the wrestlers
I could identify. :)
The silver fairy. He was te best player on an all-fairy team and
the only one fully painted.
Team O'Neil, one of the more serious teams. They also had a pro
or two.
Team Short Bus. Check out the crowds.
A certain Brazilian pro from Team Smack. I'm not going to include
his name just in case he ever decides to do a search on his name
and stumbles across this page to discover I took a picture of his
ass. But you can check out his stats here.
