The Great Tattoo Adventure
I got this tattoo in 1995 while at university in England. I had
it done at a biker tattoo shop in Norwich, and it's the heart from
the liner notes of Smashing Pumpkins' Siamese Dream.
While I was working at the University of Michigan, two years later,
I found this image in a book of Serbo-Croation fairy tales. I knew
it would be a tattoo someday.
I carried that photocopy around with me through five moves, and
finally, I got my fourth tattoo on February 24, 2002.
It was done by Andy Ringo at Evolved
in Columbus, Ohio. I highly recommend him and the rest of the great
artists there.
