Limey Tofu (or Chicken)

No, it's not English. Just uses five limes.

1 chunk of extra-firm tofu cut into 4 pieces
OR
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 limes

Marinade:
3 limes
1/4 cup sweet white wine (Riesling is good)
1/8 cup canola oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. crushed red pepper

  1. Slice two of the limes into 1/4" slices and arrange over the tofu or chicken.
  2. Juice three of the limes and blend with the remaining marinade ingredients.
  3. Pour over tofu or chicken. Marinate at least one hour - preferably 3-4 hours for tofu.
  4. Grill or bake.
